Militant base in Nepal

Continuing their interrogation of Kishtwar militant Daand, multiple investigating agencies have come to know about the hideouts of Kashmiri and Pakistani militants in the peripheries of Kathmandu in Nepal. From the very beginning of armed insurgency in Kashmir in 1990, Pakistani and Kashmiri planners of terrorism have used Kathmandu to carry forward their anti-India agenda. The Indian aircraft was also hijacked from Kathmandu. Kashmiri and Pakistani terrorists are reported to have built hideouts in the outskirts of Kathmandu wherefrom they manage sneaking into Indian territory to carry forward ISI’s subversive agenda. Some Kashmiri militants along with their Pakistani wives and children sneaked into adjoining Indian territory and headed towards Kashmir. Why has not New Delhi protested formally and strongly to Nepalese Government all these two decades is a mystery? Why is Nepal, a friendly country, allowing its territory to be used by terrorists against a friendly country? Isn’t this violation of international law? While our jawans make supreme sacrifice of their lives in securing borders on the western front, how come Indian Government allows a neighbouring country to let foreign terrorists use its territory with impunity? The MEA should take a strong notice of this situation.
