JAMMU : Security forces busted a militant hideout and recovered cache of arms and ammunition from mountainous Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Acting on a tip off regarding presence of a hideout in Chaurangal Forest area of Nachlana in Ramban district, troops of Rashtriya Rifle and Jammu and Kashmir police this morning launched a joint operation and busted the hideout,” official spokesman here today said.
He said that the patrolling team recovered 2 pistols with magazines, 2 AK magazines, 37 rounds of AK-47, six rounds of pistol, 2 radio sets one binocular and iron pellets. The area has been cordoned off and searches intensified in the area.
