Militant hideout busted, huge cache of arms ammunition recovered

SRINAGAR, July 1:
Army today unearthed a militant hideout and recovered large cache of arms and ammunition in Machil sector, a defence ministry spokesman said here.
He said based on a tip off, Rashitriya Rifles (RR) launched a search operation in Machil sector between Line of Control (LoC) and fence on this side.
During the search, troops unearthed a hideout and recovered arms and ammunition, including one AK-56 rifle with ten magazines and 300 rounds, four pistols (Chinese) with four magazines, one Under Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL) with 12 grenades and three hand grenades (Chinese).
However, no one was arrested, they said. (AGENCIES)
