SRINAGAR : Militants today attacked an army convoy at Hyderpora on the outskirts of the city but no one was hurt.
“An army convoy was fired upon by militants while it was passing through Hyderpora along the national highway,” a defence spokesman said.
The troops fired back forcing the militants to flee, he said adding no one was injured in the militant attack.
The attack took place less than a kilometer from the place where ultras ambushed an army convoy on June 24, killing eight soldiers. (AGENCIES)
