SRINAGAR: Militants on Friday made an unsuccessful attempt to loot weapons from police guards of a minority picket in the central Kashmir district of Badgam, official sources said.
They said a group of militants entered guard room of a minority picket at Yachgam in Badgam. However, after failing to found any weapon, militants beat up the police personnel before leaving the area.
Later security forces conducted search operation in the area. (AGENCIES)
