SRINAGAR, Jan 2: Militants tonight attacked Police Station Pulwama in South Kashmir but police repulsed the attack.
A group of militants fired at the Police Station Pulwama tonight with automatic rifles and the police guards fired back. The firing continued for about 10 minutes.
Police, CRPF and Army immediately launched an operation in the area and searches are being conducted against the militants, who fired at the Police Station. However, sources said that the militants managed to escape under the cover of darkness.
