SRINAGAR: Militants targeted the residence of a Senior Superintendent of Police here by lobbing a grenade but there was no damage, police said.
The ultras lobbed the grenade at the residence of Ghulam Jeelani, who is posted as SSP Handwara, in Bagh-e-Mehtab area of the city last night, a police official said.
He said the grenade landed and exploded in the compound of the house but no damage was caused by it.
The police official and his family were not present at their residence when the attack took place, he added. (Agencies)
