SRINAGAR, Aug 21:  The National Investigation Agency (NIA) with the help of Jammu and Kashmir Police today arrested driver of the truck that drove Pakistani militant Naved and his associate to Udhampur to carry out attack on Border Security Force (BSF) convoy early this month while the captured militant has revealed that militants are aiming at Jammu to send a message that the region is also disturbed.
According to interrogation report Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) commander, Abu Qasim told Naved and Nouman who carried out attack on BSF in Udhampur early this month to send a message that Jammu is not safe. “On August 3, 2015 at about 1830 hours, Qasim told Naved and Noaman to go for Fidayeen attack on security forces convoy on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway to convey the message to India that Jammu is not also safe. Militants have access to Jammu also. They were told to attack convoy between Udhampur and Ramban”, reads an interrogation report.
Naved told his interrogators that there are around 150-200 militants in a training camp at Gahri Habibullah in Pakistan occupied Kashmir. “Presently, a group of about 150-200 Pak LeT terrorists are undergoing arms training in Garhi Habibullah camp of LeT. Saad Bhai is the Amir of the camp. Other instructors at the camp are Usman Bhai, resident of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Younis Bhai”, reads the report.
Naved told his interrogators that 20-25 militants are under training at Shawai Nallah training camp where he did special training before infiltrating into Kashmir. He said that these militants are ready to infiltrate into Kashmir. “Shawai Nallah: It is an active training camp of LeT (Markaz-e-Aqsa) cadres from Maneshra were shifted to this camp about 2 years ago. Presently about 20-25 Pak terrorist are staying in this camp. They are likely to be infiltrated into India in near future. Hamid and Usman are trainers at the Shawai Nallah camp”, reads the report.
In the meantime, police arrested three persons from South Kashmir including the driver of the truck that dropped Naved and Noaman at Udhampur for carrying out attack on a BSF convoy in which two jawans were killed and 11 others were injured on August 5. All these three persons are accused in Udhampur attack case.
The driver has been identified as Khurshid Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, resident of Charsoo, Awantipora, Pulwama and he was picked from his village. He is the person who carried Naved and Noaman from Kulgam to Udhampur.
One more person Javid Ahmad Parray, 32, son of Muhammad Jabbar Parray, resident of Katipora, Charsoo, Awantipora, Pulwama was also arrested.  He is also driver by profession. He has been arrested by Pattan police in connection with Udhampur attack.
Three persons including Majid Ahmad Bhat, of Redwani in district Kulgam were arrested last night by police. However, two of them were released but Bhat is in Police custody for his role in Udhmapur attack.
Meanwhile, violent clashes broke out between residents and security forces over the arrests at Redwani. During the clashes, several protesters sustained minor injuries while police used teargas shells to disperse them.
The hideout at village Wuyan in Khrew area of Pulwama district where Naved stayed for 40 days has been busted by police. Naved also identified the house at  village Gadikhan Charsu in Pulwama district where he stayed for 2 days. He also showed the place to Police where he boarded the truck at Redwani in Kulgam for carrying out attack.
