MIMC president, Ex-MLA call on LG Mathur

Leh, Aug 22: Founder-president, Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre, Leh, Bhikkhu Sanghasena, called on the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, RK Mathur, at Raj Niwas today.
Bhikkhu Sanghasena informed about various initiatives and activities of MIMC Leh to promote yoga around the world and apprised about the Yoga Instructors Course to be organised by MIMC in collaboration with the University of Ladakh and Vivekananda Yoga Anusandana, Bengaluru, from September 1 to October 1, 2022. He requested scholarships for deserving students to become certified yoga instructors.
Former Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA), Nubra, Deldan Namgail, also called on LG Mathur to raise issues related to the Shatse-Taknak bridge in the Siachen belt. He informed about the strategic importance of the Shatse Taknak bridge and requested for intervention in its early completion.
