DODA, June 3: Head of Aadi Shakti Devi Chandika Sevak Sanstha (ASDCSS) Blassu, Doda, Prof. D.S Manhas has informed that annual Holy Chhari Yatra (Mindhal Yatra) commenced from Maa Chandi Temple Blassu, here on June 1, 2023.
He elaborated that Mata Chandi Sevak, Payar Singh accompanied by thousands of devotees took the Chhari Mubarik which had night stay at Gouri Shankar Temple, Kishtwar on June 1 and at Maha Kali Temple Sohal, Padder on June 2, 2023 and it reached Mindhal, Pangi in HP today.
On June 4, Mindhal Mela (Havan Pooja, Bhaderawhi Kud & Jagran) will be held at Maa Chandi Darbar Mindhal.
The Chhari Mubarik will return on June 5, 2023 and after night stay at Gouri Shanker Temple in Kishtwar it is scheduled to reach back at village Blassu, Doda on June 6, 2023.
ASDCSS with the co-operation of Maa Chandi Sevaks of Udhampur, Batote, Ramban, Prem Nagar, Thathri, Kishtwar, Gallar, Kundal, Sohal, Tyari, Lujh, Killar Mindhal and district administration Doda and Kishtwar as well as Chamba HP have made necessary arrangements for smooth conduct of the Yatra.
Executive body members of ASDCSS are Ajay Sethi, Kartar Singh, Ravinder Singh, Shrikant Sharma, Satish Kumar Dogra and Munin.
