RAJOURI, Nov 25: The police seized a mini-truck along with 11 bovine animals in Thannamandi area and arrested one smuggler in this connection.
Official sources said that a police party led by SI Sham Lal, during naka on Rajouri-Thannamandi-Bafliaz (Mughal Road) last night intercepted a load carrier (407), bearing registration No. JK22/3646 and found 11 cattle being smuggled to Kashmir.
The police nabbed the driver and seized the vehicle along with milch animals. The police also registered a case against in this connection. The accused was identified as Mohammed Kabir, son of Mir Hussain, resident of Tota Morha, Behrot in Thannamandi tehsil. The police was further investigating.
