Minister reviews progress of CCBL Jammu

JAMMU, Apr 27: Minister of Cooperative, Chering Dorjey today reviewed   progress of  the Citizens Cooperative Bank, Ltd  Jammu, which has registered profit  in just four months after the Government  appointed Board of Administrators took over the charge.
Commissioner Secretary to Government  Cooperative Department,  Nirmal Sharma and  Bashir Ahmed Bhat, Registrar Cooperative Societies J&K,  were also present in the review meeting, wherein  Dr  Arun Manhas, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu and Administrator CCBL Jammu,  presented power point presentation regarding  progress of  the bank.
Ashok Goswami, Managing Director CCBL  and  Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, Manager CCBL, assisted  Dr  Arun Manhas, who briefed the Minister about the bank achievements, which include increasing Share Capital by Rs 58.00 lakhs, increase in CRAR level of the Bank from 3.88 percent to 5.54 percent, registering of net profit of Rs 5.41 lakh, review of Loan Policy, Audit and Inspection Policy, KYC Policy, Investment Policy and  redressal of staff grievances by enhancement of retirement age from 58yrs to 60 yrs.
Chering Dourjey, Minister of Cooperatives, expressed his immense satisfactions on the working of Board of Administrator of the CCBL,  headed by Dr  Arun Manhas, Rakesh Maini, vice president, J&K, Bank and  Gulam Mohiudin Koale, Asstt. Registrar, Cooperative (Head Quarter), J&K   and reiterated that the same employees gave stupendous result when there was positive leadership.
Minister stressed that the Board of Administrator, management and staff of CCBL should work with same zeal and keep the momentum of progress going on.
