Minister urged to ensure repair of residential blocks in Jagti camp

JAMMU, Dec 22: Samajwadi Party (Minority) Forum, Jammu today urged the Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, AR Veeri to ensure early repairs of the residential blocks at Jagti Migrant Township, which are in dilapidated condition.
The issue was discussed threadbare in the meeting of the Forum, which was held here at Jagti township under the leadership of Inder Ji Labroo, State president and Mohd Amin Bhat, State general secretary.
Labroo said that time and again the Revenue Minister was apprised about the dilapidated condition of the residential blocks in Jagti township and requests were made for ensuring proper repairs of the damage buildings to prevent the lives of the inmates but nothing was done on the ground except some paper works, thereby putting the lives of the inmates at risk.
He appealed the Minister and concerned authorities to ensure early repairs of the residential blocks and ensure cleanliness in the township.
