JAMMU, Jan 22: Advocate Suresh Kumar Dogra, chairman, OBC Department, Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) J&K today said that the Union Ministers visit to J&K will be meaningless if they don’t talk on the issues of Other Backward Classes (OBC).
“The people belonging to OBC category have been continuously waiting for a long for their legal and constitutional rights to be fulfilled in Jammu and Kashmir,” Dogra said, adding now when 36 Union Ministers are on J&K visit, OBC population has a lot of hope with them but their visit will be worthless and meaningless if no one among them talk on the issues of OBCs.
He said after abrogation of Article 370, the Modi led Union Cabinet should not have any excuse to implement National laws including Mandal Commission Report, Reservation in Promotion, Political Reservation and National Commission for Backward Classes because J&K is no more a state.
Dogra further added that the visit of these parliamentarians is mere an eye wash to extract vote bank and a big fraud with the poor OBC people of J&K.
