Minor among 5 injured in road accidents

SRINAGAR, June 12: Five persons were injured in different road traffic accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said a scooterist was injured after an I -10 car JK22/3719 driven by Ghulam Mohammad Rather son of Mohammad Abdullah of Zainapora collided with a scooter driven by Manzoor Ahmed Shiekh son of Ghulam Mohammad of Turak Wangam in Shopian.
A Sumo JK04B/ 2155 hit a motorcycle driven by Umer Ahmed Bhat of Nowgam Shopian. In this accident the motorcyclist and his pillon Ishfaq Ahmed Wagay of Panshon, Shopian were injured.
An Eon vehicle JK18/7802 driven by Ashiq Hussain Dar of Wanpoh hit and injured a 5-year-old boy, Sumeer Ali son of Nazar Ali of Wanpoh in Anantnag.
Danish Shabir Bhat son of Shari Ahmed of Anzulla Anantnag fell down from the roof-top of a minibus JK03A/3439 at Donipawa in Janglat Mandi, Anantnag and was injured.
The spokesman said the injured have been shifted to hospitals and cases have been registered in these accidents.
