Minor boy injured after hit by train

JAMMU, Aug 24: A minor boy received serious injuries today when he was hit by a goods train near Railway Station, Jammu.
According to a GRP official, Jaswant (age about 14-15 years) son of Kuldev, resident of Maharashtra and at present living in Marathi Mohalla, Trikuta Nagar, was hit by goods train at about 12:30 hours near Railway Station Jammu when he was running behind a kite.
The official said that the both the legs of the boy were badly crushed by the train. He said the victim was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, for treatment while GRP Jammu police had taken cognizance of the matter.
