RAJOURI, Feb 22: A minor boy has been murdered with the sharp edged weapon in forest area of Larkutti village in Budhal.
A police spokesman said that 13-year-old, Mohd Maroof, son of Mohd Iqbal had gone for grazing his cattle to the nearby forest area at Larkutti village yesterday. The minor boy went missing last evening while the cattle returned home after grazing.
The family members started search for the boy but they could not trace him till late evening. They also informed police today. A village noticed the dead body of the boy lying in the forest area at around 11 am today and informed the locals of the area. The family members also rushed there. The limbs of the boy appeared to have lynched badly with an axe.
The police party from Budhal reached the spot after receiving information and after examining the spot, it shifted the body to local Budhal hospital for postmortem. Boy’s one leg and arm had almost been chopped off. There was deep wound at neck of the boy, too. The police registered a case and started investigation. The police was still clueless about the blind murder of minor boy.
