Minor boy rescued from flash flood

RAJOURI, Aug 9: A minor nomad boy was rescued by police and locals after he along with half a dozen sheep/ goats was trapped in flash flood in the middle of Darhali Nallah here this evening.
A police spokesman said that boy along with his goat and sheeps had gone for grazing at the Nallah side. Near Darhali bridge, he was trapped in the flash flood in the Nallah this evening. He remained trapped in the dry portion of the nallah in the middle, for two and half hours. He cried for help and police and locals of the area rushed to the site.
After about long efforts the water receded in the Nallah, the body could be rescued and then his goats as well. He was identified as Umran (15), son of Abdul Majid, resident of Aitti village.
