JAMMU, Dec 17: A minor girl was crushed to death by a speedy truck in Sainik Colony area of the winter capital.
As per reports, 5-year-old Reshma, daughter of Hira Lal of Jodhpur, at present Sainik Colony was crossing the road, when the speedy truck bearing registration number JKO2J-9075 hit her.
She was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors pronounced her as brought dead.
The body was handed over to legal heirs after completion of legal formalities.
The truck driver identified as Rajesh Kumar, son of Tilak Raj of Bishnah has been arrested while, a case has been registered at Sainik Colony Police Post and investigation started.
