RAMBAN, Apr 26: A minor boy was crushed to death by a speedy truck at Chanderkote on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
As per police sources, 8-year-old boy Zubair Ahmed, son of Haider, a resident of Kumait Rajgarh was seriously injured after a speedy truck bearing registration number JK22-2494 at Chanderkote on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
The profusely bleeding victim was rushed to District Hospital and was later referred to GMCH Jammu, but he succumbed to his injuries near Udhampur.
The truck driver identified as Mohammaad Ishfaq, son of Mohammad Ramzan, a resident of Awantipora has been arrested.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Chanderkote Police Station and investigation started.
