SRINAGAR, June 1: A minor boy was electrocuted after coming in contact with a live LT wire that had snapped off the electric line in Sopore.
A police spokesman said 7-year-old Faisal Ahmad Najar son of Feroz Ahmad Najar of Tujar Sharief was electrocuted when he came in contact with the line at Peth Astaan Tujar Sharief in Bomai.
The spokesman said the boy received burn injuries in this incident and was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Sopore for treatment, and the police has registered a case in this regard.
