RAJOURI, Aug 8: A minor girl was drowned in a nallah at village Garati in district Rajouri today.
The police identified the deceased as Arjam Khan (13), daughter of Zulfkar Khan, resident of Garati village in Doongi area. Family members told police that girl had gone to the nearby Garati Nallah along with some children of the locality to take bath. While bathing she slipped into the deep water and got drowned. The children raised alarm and some people rushed there and fished out the girl alive. She was rushed to hospital at Rajouri but she died on the way.
