REASI, Oct 14: In a tragic accident, a 12-year old died when she fell from a moving tractor at Zero Morh in Chassana, here today.
The deceased was identified as Priya Thakur, daughter of Angrez Singh, resident of Tulli. She reportedly died on the spot after falling from tractor JKO20A- 1997 while travelling towards Tuli from Chassana.
Meanwhile, an unidentified young Sadhu was run over by Jammu Mail train at Platform number 2 in Katra.
According to a handout, issued by the Railway Police, Katra, the death occurred due to some suspicious circumstances. An inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC has been initiated in this regard at Police Station GRP Katra.
