RAJOURI, Jan 30: A minor girl was kidnapped from Manjakote area while a bike rider was hurt in a road accident in Chingus area of Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that a minor girl and student of class 12th, hailing from Kattarmal in Manjakote was allegedly kidnapped by a youth namely, Zaffar Iqbal, son of Mohd Iqbal of Rajouri town on Tuesday. The parents of the girl lodged a report with Manjakote police which registered a case FIR No. 4/ 2019 today and started investigation.
Meanwhile, a bike rider Anil Kumar of Rajouri was seriously injured after his bike was hit by Tata Mobile No. JK12A/4146 near Kallar in Chingus area today. He has been admitted with injuries to District Hospital Rajouri. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
