JAMMU, Jan 19: A minor girl was killed and two others were injured in road accidents today.
As per police sources, a 2-year-old girl namely Shregal, daughter of Sukhsagar of Chattisgarh, at present Akhnoor was killed after hit by army truck in Malpur area.
After autopsy at GMCH Jammu, the body of the deceased has been handed over to family members for last rites.
Acting swiftly, the driver of the vehicle was arrested.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Kanachack and investigation started.
Meanwhile, two persons identified as Vikas Singh Sambyal (19), son of Surinder Singh Sambyal of Ward Number 11 Samba and Younis Hussain, son of Allah Ditta of Patti Vijaypur were injured between motorcycle and car collision near DC office Samba.
Both the injured have been shifted to District Hospital Samba for treatment.
Samba Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
