RAJOURI, Oct 27: A minor girl was raped by a neighbourer in remote Khawas area of district Rajouri, police said.
Official sources said that parents of the 9-year-old girl, told police at Khawas that a boy Showkat Ali, son of Mohd Bashir, resident of Keri (Lathi), in Khawas allegedly raped their minor daughter when she was all alone at home yesterday.
In this regard a case FIR No. 114/21 u/s 4/6 POCSO 376/IPC has been registered at Police Station Budhal. The police has started investigation into the matter.
