RAMBAN, Oct 9: A 13-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself with the hook of ceiling fan in Dalwas area, falling under the jurisdiction of Chanderkote police station.
As per police sources, Shakila Bano (13), daughter of Mohammad Qasim Shah of Dalwas, allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself with the hook of ceiling fan at her residence.
Finding her hanging, family members informed the police and the body was shifted to District Hospital Ramban, where after conducting autopsy, it was handed over to family members for last rites.
A case in this regard has been registered at Chanderkote police station and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
