BHADERWAH, Feb 6: A minor boy received serious head injuries after being hit by a police vehicle near Seri area here.
As per police sources, a boy identified as Anchal Kumar (10), son of Dharantar Singh, a resident of Browa, tehsil Bhaderwah was crossing the road, when a police vehicle hit him near Seri. The boy received serious head injury in the accident.
The profusely bleeding boy was rushed to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bhaderwah, from where he was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for advanced treatment.
A case under FIR number 8/15 under Section 279 and 337 RPC has been registered at Bhaderwah police station and investigation started.
