JAMMU, June 7: A minor boy was killed while five others sustained injuries in accident in Roop Nagar area late last night.
As per police sources, an auto met with an accident in Roop Nagar area late last night, resulting into injuries to six persons.
On getting information, a police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to GMCH Jammu, where doctors pronounced a minor boy as brought dead.
The deceased was identified as Ansh Kumar (16), son of Jyoti Kumar of Kot Bhalwal, while the injured were identified as Vishal, son of Jyoti Kumar, Pahil, son of Parshotam Lal, Nitish, son of Parshotam Lal, Nirmal, wife of Parshotam and Parshotam Lal, son of Munshi Ram, all residents of Kot Bhalwal District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 62/2022 under Sections 279, 337 and 304-A IPC has been registered at Police Station Janipur and investigation started.
