UDHAMPUR, Apr 10: A three-year old boy was knocked to death by a truck on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway near Tikri, here last night.
The deceased was identified as Tariq Hussain (3), son of Mohd Akhtar of Thanda Pader, Udhampur. Even as the child was rushed to hospital, doctors declared him as brought dead.
Driver of the truck fled from the spot along with his vehicle. A case in this connection has been registered at Rehmbal Police Station.
