KISHTWAR, June 24: A minor boy was murdered by his maternal uncle in Panni Nallah area of Chamoti here today.
As per police sources, a minor boy identified as Gulzar Ahmed, son of Mohammad Bashir of Panni Nallah Chamoti was attacked by his maternal uncle Farid Ahmed, son of Abdul Subhan Sheikh of Pain Nallah with a stick.
Gulzar Ahmed received serious injuries in the attack and was rushed to nearby hospital in Thathri, where doctors pronounced him as brought dead.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and arrested the accused.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Kishtwar and investigation started.
