Minorities briefed on Central Govt schemes

JAMMU, June 26: A two days workshop was held in Jama Masjid, Talab Khatikan, which was organized by HP Rural Entrepreneurship Development and Consultancy Organisation (HP REDCOS) in which the people were made aware about various schemes for the welfare of minority communities, which are being run by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India.
In the workshop, 200 people took part. Ranbireshwar Singh Jamwal, AD (Administration) was the chief guest on the occasion.
During this workshop, the HP REDCOS members gave information and apprised the masses about the various schemes being run by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, for the people of minority community.
Jamwal, in his address, briefed the minority community regarding the pre-matric, post-matric and ‘Merit cum Means’ scholarships being provided to the beneficiaries of minority community by the Government of India through Social Welfare Department.
