Minorities not safe under Modi rule: Rana

SAMBA, Mar 2: Senior National Conference (NC) leader and MLA Mendhar today said that after the formation of BJP Government in the country, minorities are feeling insecure.
The NC leader was speaking on 10th day religious congregation of late Mohd Yaqoob at Sarore in Samba district. He said that RSS and other Hindu extremists are creating incorrigible atmosphere in the country.
Talking about the recent incidents in Samba, Rana said that there must be a permanent settlement of nomads and it is a matter of great concern for the whole security that during the era of development we have a population in the State which is living its life in distressful manner.
While referring to the meeting with Governor NN Vohra, the MLA said that he along with other legislators met Governor and demanded a judicial probe in the recent incident in Samba and said that selective eviction will not be tolerated in the future.
