Mir inaugurates JK Bank ATM

Minister for Agriculture Ghulam Hassan Mir inaugurating ATM at Chandilora on Sunday.

SRINAGAR, Apr 7: Minister for Agriculture, Ghulam Hassan Mir today inaugurated a J&K Bank ATM at Chandilora Tangmarg in the presence of district administration and large number of people.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister opined that people of the area would take advantage of all such schemes which are meant for the development of socio-economic status of the people. He said opening of ATM at Chandilora was long pending demand of the people of the area. The Bank has issued 1500 Kissan Credit Cards among farmers, informed the Minister.
Mr. Mir said that he is personally monitoring the development of the area and said that Tangmarg will soon become the hub of educational activities. He advised youth not to waste even a minute of their precious time, adding proper usage of time makes everybody a good citizen.
He said the eras of hartals have come to end now and there is dire need to think on the developmental side. He called upon youth to come forward and take benefits of the schemes meant for their welfare and prosperity. He also maintained that peace is pre-requisite for development.
The Minister also reviewed the site plan of Kissan Ghar at Chandilora, coming up at a cost of Rs. 1 crore.
He stressed upon the officers to complete the project within the stipulated time frame as the wishes of the people.
