JAMMU, Jan 28: To make available the quality products of J&K Agro Industries Corporation Ltd (J&KAIC) to the Government employees, the Minister for Agriculture, Ghulam Hassan Mir this morning inaugurated J&K Agro Industries Corporation Ltd. outlet in the Secretariat premises.
The Corporation also announced 10% rebate on all the products for Secretariat employees up to Feb 3, 2013.
Managing Director J&K Agro Industries Corporation Ltd, Abdul Majid Ahmad Bhat and other senior officers of the Corporation were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the step has been taken with the objective to provide variety of quality Agro Products to employees at their doorstep. He said that Agro industries are now working round the clock to introduce the quality products for the consumers as in this competitive world quality matters.
The products put forth for sale by the Corporation includes Honey, Pickles, Saffron, traditional Kashmiri products like Wazwan, Mushki Budji Rice, Wari (Kashmiri species cake), Rajmash and different kinds of Jams.
