SRINAGAR, June 4: Pradesh Congress Committee president and former Minister Ghulam Ahmed Mir today kick started party membership drive in Dooru and Anantnag constituencies at Khanabal today.
On this occasion, hundreds of locals and Party workers were present and expressed their full faith under the leadership of GA Mir and Congress Party.
Speaking on the occasion PCC chief expressed confidence that Congress Party in the State is a vibrant situation and people have full faith in Congress Party, as they know that this party alone has never indulged in double speak and it (Congress) has always given priorities to people’s issues and served them best.
Mr Mir expressed satisfaction that people in every nook and corner of the State are coming forward to join the Party for overall development of the State and the people. Congress Party is duty bound to serve the people and work for their well being.
PCC chief exhorted the party to workers to move ahead with Membership drive and make it a big success .
General secretary Hilal Ahmad Shah while speaking on the occasion expressed confidence that Party is growing stronger day by day, as the Party has never believed in hollow slogans and false propaganda. It has always believed in serving the people and work for their well being.
