Srinagar, July 31: The J&K Mining Department today sanctioned the placement of Mir Azhar Majid, a Drilling Engineer, as In-Charge Chief Drilling Engineer in J&K, and Abdul Hamid Wani, a Drilling Engineer, as In-Charge Senior Drilling Engineer, Kashmir.
The placements, as per an order issued in this regard, are in their own pay and grade against the available vacancies in the Geology and Mining Department.
The order stated that the placements are on an officiating basis with charge allowance as admissible under the rules, for a period of 6 months or until the available vacancy in the Gazetted service is filled on a regular basis based on the recommendation of the DPC/PSC.
