SRINAGAR, July 15: Launching a scathing attack at previous PDP- BJP Govt for ignoring engagement to empaneled ReTs in the State, the J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President GA Mir today expressed serious concern over the indifferent attitude and lack of interest of the previous Govt towards the ReTs, saying that their case for engagement has been kept in limbo under a well-planned conspiracy to avoid their engagement they deserve.
In a statement issued to the Press today, Mir emphasized the Governor Administration to go through the case of ReTs, who have been empaneled for permanent engagement emphasizing that the process of engagement must be started forthwith.
He said the Finance Department too had already cleared them (ReTs), as reported to him  but ironically the previous Govt,  in order to avoid the engagement process forwarded the case to Law Department seeking opinion with regard to engagement, which is something like getting involved in dilly dally tactics to thwart the process on the part of the previous Govt.
One fails to understands as to why these teachers were not engaged despite empaneled for engagement, besides getting cleared by the Finance Department, this is something which needs to be looked into and responsibility fixed, he said.
The attitude of the previous PDP- BJP Govt towards their own employees was disappointing, besides the lack of policies will remain the source behind agony and anguish among the employees and people as well.
Mir emphasized the Governor  Administration to look into the matter and take appropriate steps for the engagement of empaneled ReTs without any further loss of time, for the fact, they (ReTs) and other employees has been made to suffer  on one pretext or the other for not fault of theirs, he added and urged that Governor Administration must act and examine the cases of other employees also for their engagement  in their respective departments.
