KISHTWAR, July 29: Police here today arrested a miscreant involved in sacrilegious act under stringent Public Safety Act (PSA).
SSP Kishtwar, Abdul Qayoom informed that Police received multiple complaints against Sher Mohammad, son of Habib Hajam, resident of Nagnigarh Keshwan, currently in Lower Pochhal in Kishtwar from time to time and arrested him under the supervision of Dy. SP Hqrs Kishtwar.
During investigation, it was found that the accused was involved in various complaints of similar nature and a dossier was sent to the DM Kishtwar and the criminal was booked under PSA.
After obtaining the PSA orders, a special team was constituted by SSP Kishtwar to arrest the accused, who has now been lodged in Kot Bhalwal Jail, Jammu.
