SAMBA, Aug 28: Miscreant snatched gold chain of a lady near Vishwakarma Temple in Vijaypur.
As per police sources, miscreant riding on a motorcycle snatched gold chain (mangalsutar) of a lady namely Anu Bala, wife of Tarsem Lal, a resident of Village Rampur Tehsil Vijaypur District Samba.
The lady raised hue and cry, but the miscreant managed to escape from the spot.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Vijaypur and hunt has been launched to nab the snatcher.
However, no arrest was made till last reports were compiled.
