SAMBA, May 7: Panic gripped after four miscreants today fired on a person here today.
As per police sources, four persons hailing from Samba opened fire on Vinod Singh, son of Kuldeep Singh of Ward Number 3, district Samba. Luck favoured Vinod, as he escaped unhurt in the incident.
After attacking Vinod Singh, the accused escaped from the spot in a Maruti car.
However, a case in this regard has been registered at Samba police station and manhunt has been launched to nab them as all the accused have been identified by the police.
During preliminary investigation, it came to fore that the attackers were having some old rivalry with Vinod Singh.
