JAMMU, June 16: Two miscreants on a motorcycle snatched purse of a lady containing cash.
As per police sources, an old lady after withdrawing cash from bank was on her way to home, when two miscreants on a motorcycle snatched her purse containing Rs 45,000 cash.
The lady raised hue and cry, but the miscreants managed to escape from the spot.
Later, on a complaint, a case under relevant Sections was registered at Police Station Bishnah and hunt has been launched to nab the miscreants.
However, the people expressed their resentment over the snatching of purse in broad day light and asked the police to enhance the vigil over the miscreants in the area.
