JAMMU, Apr 27: S. K. Mishra, Director General (Coordination), called on Governor N. N. Vohra, at the Raj Bhavan here today.
DG (Coordination) briefed the Governor about the comprehensive communication network which has been established to improve coordination among the law enforcement agencies involved in the security of the State.
The Governor discussed with Mr. Mishra several matters related to internal security management.
S. Gopal Reddy, DG SDRF & Civil Defence Home Guards also called on Governor and briefed him about the preparedness of the SDRF and Home Guards in dealing with natural and manmade calamities and also being available for any arising problem in regard to the pilgrimages to the State.
L. Mohanti, ADGP Armed also called on Governor N.N Vohra.
Mr. Mohanti briefed the Governor about the details of the Armed Police organization in J&K and how it is presently deployed in dealing with law enforcement and related exigencies in the State.
