Missing answer scripts re-surface

JAMMU, Mar 10: In a surprising development, the missing answer scripts of M Phil examination in the Dogri Department of Jammu University, re-surfaced in a packet that was delivered in the JU through post by an unidentified dispatcher.
These answer scripts were missing for the last few months and a formal Police complaint in this regard was registered by Jammu University only last week.
According to Dean Students Welfare, Prof Pankaj Shrivastava, a packet containing all the missing answer scripts was received by the Dogri Department. The packet was dispatched by an unidentified dispatcher and the University authorities were ascertaining whether the received answer scripts were the same, which   were missing, he added.
Pertinent to mention that University authorities had come to know about missing of  ten answer scripts of  Ist semester internal examination of  M Phil in December last. However, a complaint in this regard was got registered with Police only last Friday after the JU authorities failed to locate the missing answer scripts for more than two months.
Even as the missing answer scripts have been received, the police case stands registered for identification of the dispatcher and the culprits involved in the incident, said Prof Shrivastava.
