JAMMU, Aug 23: A cab driver who was missing since August 19 was found murdered today in forest area of Sidhra.
Identified as Mangal Singh son of Gardham Singh of Chak Seri (Kot Bhalwal), the cab driver had went missing on August 19 when he was last seen in the Nagrota area. He was reportedly on his way from Katra to drop off pilgrims at Jammu railway Station when his phone went off near Nagrota on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
Police sources said that the dead body of the cab driver was today found in forest area of Sidhra on Bajalta Road. “The body has been shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for postmortem while a case under relevant sections has been registered in this connection at concerned police station,” they said.
Sources further informed that 3 kidnappers and murderers of the cab driver have been arrested from Hissar in Haryana and they are being brought to Jammu for further investigation into the case.
