Missing iPhone, bag restored to pilgrims

KATRA, June 5: In responsible act, Police today restored a missing iPhone and bag containing cash, which were lost by two different pilgrims at Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan.
The Apple iPhone having cost price Rs 55,000/- was found by Police Party during patrolling duty at Bhawan near Bathing Ghat. Announcement in this regard was made through JPCR following which a female pilgrim, namely Pranjli Agarwal wife of Madhu Bhushan of   Bulandshehar (UP) appeared before Police Station Bhawan and reported about her missing phone.
After clarification about the identity, the phone was restored to her.
Meanwhile, a lady hand bag, containing Rs 8000 was also found by joint patrolling party of Police and CRPF near Gate number 3 at Bhawan. After announcements through JPCR,  one yatri namely Umesh Kumar son of  Narindra Kumar of Meerut (UP) appeared before Police Station Bhawan  and reported about his missing  hand bag, which was restored to him along with cash.
