Missing JKTDC employee found dead

JAMMU, Oct 19: An employee of Jammu Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation (JKTDC), who was reportedly missing since October 17, was today found dead under mysterious circumstances in Belicharana area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, an unknown male dead body of age 45- 50 years was today spotted by some locals at Canal Head, Belicharana. On the information of the locals, a police team from police post Belicharana led by Incharge, SI Ranjeet Singh, reached the spot and shifted the body to mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification.
However, the man was later identified as Vijay Tickoo son of late Kashi Nath Tickoo, resident of Shiv Vihar near BSNL Exchange, Gole Gujral (Talab Tillo, Jammu). As per the reports, the deceased was an employee of JKTDC department and was posted at Residency Road office. He was missing since October 17 from his office after 4 pm.
The spokesman said that a case under relevant sections has been registered at concerned police station and investigations to ascertain the cause of the death started.
