Missing lady’s body recovered from Dayala Chak by Pir Mitha Police

HIRANAGAR, Dec 13: A Peer Mitha Police team led by SHO Mashkoor Ahmed today recovered a dead body of 65 year old lady identified as Nargis wife of Mohammed Chouhan of Peer Mitha area from a 150 feet deep ditch near a dhaba at Dayala Chak in Hiranagar tehsil of Samba district.
The police on the disclosure of two persons who were suspected by it were involved in the murder lady today raided the area and recovered the dead body from the ditch.
The duo were taken by the police to the spot were the dead body was thrown by them. The Police team of Peer Mitha was also accompanied by SHO, Hiranagar Ashwani Kumar Sharma.
The Police said the lady was missing from last quite some days and an FIR was registered at Peer Mitha P/S by her relatives. The Peer Mitha Police swung into action and nabbed the two persons who disclosed that the dead body was thrown by them in a ditch at Ghagwal. The Police took them to Ghagwal today to identify the place and the body. The body will be handed over to the family members after postmortem tomorrow.
Police said that the body had a wound on her belly which might have been caused after throwing it into the ditch.
