JAMMU, Aug 20: A missing man was found dead in Ranbir canal near Rajinder Park here today, police sources said.
The deceased was identified as Naveen Sharma, son of Manohar Lal Sharma of Shiv Nagar District Jammu. He was missing from August 18, 2021 and a missing report was also entered into the daily dairy of Police Station Bakshi Nagar.
After conducting post-mortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to family members for last rites.
Canal Road Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
