SRINAGAR, Mar 25: Police today claimed to have recovered the body of Abdul Rashid Gagi son of Abdul Rehman of Hayan Palpora, Ganderbal, who was reported to be missing from March 23, 2014.
A police spokesman said his body recovered near Power canal, Kawcharawan, on Monday evening.
Police has initiated inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC to ascertain the cause of the death, the spokesman said.
